<p><b>Play the long game.</b> The Era ring is made of three parts letting us use the best-performing material for each. For the teeth that's stainless steel which is stronger (and harder) than titanium with a wear life five times that of aluminum.</p> <p><b>Don't mess with the best.</b> The aluminum crank interface is tried tested and proven on Race Face chainrings. It's light it's durable and with CINCH it's easy to swap out ring sizes.</p> <p><b>Spidey strength.</b> Binding it all together is the carbon fiber spider joined with our proprietary compression and co-molding processes we used in our Era carbon cranks. This little spider can withstand the equivalent output force of a 5.9-liter Cummins diesel engine. We checked.</p> <p><b>Everlasting. Light.</b> Era is expected to last five times as long as a typical alloy ring for less than twice the cost. By bonding three parts made from optimal materials we made a chainring with the weight of aluminum and the lifespan of steel.
