We reevaluated everything from pedal shape and platform size, to pin placement and Q-factor, resulting in the finest composite pedal as of yet from Race Face. </p><p>So, what's new with Chester?</p><p>We've given the pedal a design overhaul, by reshaping the pedal platform and reducing the middle bulge. This gives the pedal a more concave and secure feel, enhancing ride comfort. Additionally, the platform is now available in two sizes to cater to all riders. </p><p>We've also increased the number of metal pins to eleven per pedal side, giving you better grip and a more consistent feel. Furthermore, the new pins have been designed threadless for easy removal and minimal damage on impact.</p><p>By eliminating the wrench flats from the pedal spindle, the Q-factor has been reduced, bringing the rider's feet closer to the cranks.
